Some thirteen hundred Palestinian protestors and supporters marched down Canal Street and into the French Quarter rallying against Israel for its attacks in Gaza. The march showed solidarity and the power that people’s voices can be heard. Israel has been bombing the Gaza strip for the past week with air-strikes killing innocent women and children. The Palestinian death toll is now over 600, compared to 5 deaths for Israel.
